El molde principal es el cuerpo de la tetera más el pitorro. El asa se saca por separado con un molde de dos partes, para pegarse al cuerpo de la tetera en cada reproducción. La tapa también se saca de un molde de dos mitades, y el asa de la tapa sale de un molde abierto, que se pega a la tapa en cada reproducción.
La forma de la tetera, en la que predominan ángulos de 90 grados y líneas puras, surge de la búsqueda por lo opuesto a las formas que pueden obtenerse en el torno alfarero, normalmente más orgánicas, donde conseguir ángulos tan cerrados es muy difícil.

The main mould is the body of the teapot plus the spout. The handle is taken out separately with a two-part mould, to be stuck to the body of the teapot in each reproduction. The lid is also taken out of a two-half mould, and the lid handle comes out of an open mould, which is stuck to the lid in each reproduction.
The shape of the teapot, in which 90-degree angles and pure lines predominate, arises from the search for the opposite of the shapes that can be obtained on the potter’s wheel, normally more organic, where achieving such tight angles is very difficult.
